Brief Bio

Born and raised in Colorado and got a BA in Technical Journalism from Colorado State University in 1974.  Landed my first job at International Media Systems (IMS), a small film production company in Colorado Springs. Then 2 years as a News Photographer at KRDO Ch 13 (ABC). After that I took a job in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia shooting industrial films and still photography for business and government clients for 2 years. Traveled for a while then moved to Boulder to partner in a small production company that eventually moved to Denver. In 1987 I went freelance and have been living in Denver and freelancing ever since, working in a variety of genres. Some early highlights include a documentary of John Denver and Children As Teachers of Peace traveling to Russia on a peace mission; shooting segments with Raymond Burr on a daytime TV show called "Trial By Jury;"  shooting a re-enactment video of the Battle of Horseshoe Bend; for the National Parks Service; and a documentary on religion called "The Great Mystery," along with hundreds of interesting corporate, broadcast and commercial shoots.
